August 15th　Approach
　I left my home in Palo Alto by my car on the morning, heading to Whitney Portal which was the starting point of the trek and was at the back side of the Sierra Nevada.
　I drove to Whitney Portal through Lone Pine, where I exchanged my Reservation Confirmation to the Permit. I slept in my tent at Whitney Portal.

August 16th　1st day in the mountain
　I headed to Trail Camp (3600m) from Whitney Portal (2590m) and slept in my tent.

August 17th　2nd day in the mountain
　I had round trip from Trail Camp (3600m) to the summit (4418m) and slept in my tent.

August 18th　3rd day in the mountain　+　Death Valley
　I went down from Trail Camp to Whitney Portal。
I checked in a motel at Lone Pine and drove round trip to Death Valley.

August 18th　Return Trip
　I drove to the north from Lone Pine, dis sightseeing at Mono Lake, went over mountains in Yosemite National Park using State Highway 120, and arrived at my home.
